Garden and Beinn Damph Blaroor is tucked into the hillside at the top of the remote village of Alligin, with the most beautiful views of Upper Loch Torridon and the mountains beyond. It is a traditional croft house that provides self-contained Holiday accommodation for 5 people. Outside the front door is a lovely decked area perfect for relaxing and taking in the stunning views. Alligin lies on the northern shore of Loch Torridon, a large sea loch that opens out to the Inner Sound and across to the Isle of Skye. Upper Loch Torridon is surrounded by majestic mountains with Liathach, Beinn Alligin, and Beinn Damph being particularly prominent.

Accommodation

Ground floor:
Sitting room boasts stunning views over loch Torridon.
Kitchen with electric cooker, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher.
Off the kitchen is a small single bedroom.

Kitchen/Dining Room
Double Bedroom First floor:
There are two bedrooms on the first floor - one double and one twin.

There is a seperate shower room with toilet.

Heating:
A Charnwood Multi-Fuel Heater in the sitting room heats radiators throughout the house (anthracite provided). The heater also provides hot water but there is a seperate immersion heater if the Charnwood is not used.

Electricity:
Electricity is included in the tariff.

Linen:
Bed linen and towels are provided.

Telephone:
There is no telephone, but there is limited mobile phone coverage.

No pets. No smoking.
Lets are from 5pm Saturday to 10am Saturday.

How to Find Us

Alligin is situated about 70 miles west of Inverness. Travelling from Inverness follow the A835 to Garve. After passing through Garve turn left onto the A832 towards Gairloch. After 16 miles at Achnasheen bear right at the roundabout. Follow the road for 10 miles to Kinlochewe. Turn left in Kinlochewe and follow the road for 10 miles before taking the turning on the right into Torridon. Pass through Torridon and follow the road for a further 4 miles before turning left down the hill to Alligin. Take the third minor turning on the left and continue up the hill to the end of the road.
