The Traverse Path
The alternative to crossing the summits of the Pinnacles is to follow a path that traverses on the south side of the ridge. This path is unsubstantial and leaves you very exposed in places. That said, even in cloud, the atmosphere that one experiences here is quite magical and to my mind is an experience at least the equal of that gained on top of the ridge. I have been known to walk both routes on the same expedition!
